Group shot of the gang

Switchblade himself he knows his stuff and it was great chatting to him about everything.

me and Switchblade comparing saws.

Swichblade was showing me a new knife he has oh man its sweet I think I am going to order one like it for myself.

better shot of Swichblades knife

this is a damasus knife Swichblade brought along very nice blade…

This is one of the large frost mora’s I have they are cheep but a well built knife for the price
Swichblade was eyeing it up so I told him were He could get one wonder if he got one or several later?

He did get one later that day after all…

this is another mora that Switchblade brought along to show off…

This knife Switchblade is looking at is at least 40+ year old frost mora blade it was my dads hunting knife and still a quality blade to this day..

This was a sweet pocket knife he whipped out to show us.

Switchblade giving us the rundown on the knife he likes this one.

this is Switchblade’s hobo stove

Switchblade showed us a neat little trick I though was great making egg carton fire starters with a built in match great Idea. Gun Babe wants to make a bunch of them up now..

Switchblade admiring a fire-steel of mine he was very interested in getting one for himself…

the stick is hollow and we reamed it out a bit it did work better after that it will be used as a fire poky stick and to blow embers or help to get a fire going…

Fire making demo using birch bark and firesteel to start fire

me blowing on charcloth to get ember to grow so I can use it to start fire.

more fire demo’s

think we were adding pine resin to the fire here man did it ever catch fire and burn very well…

Switchblade checking out my camara clamp it worked great for doing the group shots.

Tarp setup for some shade it was very toasty out I did put on spf 30 that morning too just to be on the safe side.

another tarp shot

this was a bit of tree fungus that I was testing out as to how well it would take light and to see how long a chunk would smolder for.
we left it alight for a couple hours and it was hardly burnt down at all it gave off just enough smoke to keep all the bugs away and the
smoke smell was OK

the Fiskers Axe of Switchblades humm never did get a shot of mine next time…
