My New Camp Wood Stove!
I made this up as I want a camp stove that I can also use in a tent if need be I have seen lots of tent wood stoves but for the price they really did not impress me at all so I made this one up made it as simple as I could the gal can in the front can be taken out to load in the wood also you can adjust the draft by pushing it in or pulling it out some more I am going to add a draft control in the chimney pipe as well later and I also need to flatten out a spot on the top for a stable place for pots but man this is one cheep way to make em here is the cost rundown…
5 gal can – free
1 gal can – free
shelving brackets for legs a buck each at the dollar store
self taping screws 2 bucks
stove pipe 3 bucks and change
elbow 3 bucks and change
Time to make about 2.5 hours
So as you can see it does not come any cheaper unless you already have all the items kicking around Well OK here are some pics of the project…

I found personal alarms at the dollar store today and have actually been looking for these things years ago PC would remember that ummm what I have done is convert them to be used as perimeter alarms for around camp to give you some pre warning of ether bears or heaven forbid the two legged ones these are very loud so you could set them well away from a camp and still hear them I have made a short vid of the personal alarms you can figure out yourself how they can be setup with just some fish-line connected to the pull string….
