Canada Coastal Rendezvous II - June 28th and 29th /08


We are having a Free to all who show up Woodsman/Survival/Bushcraft Rendezvous. A get-together to share information on outdoor skills of all kinds.

This will be the second get together we have done. This one will be outdoors so it will go on no mater what the weather,

so dress accordingly, and yes wait 5 min and the weather will change, well ok sometimes. We will try and have some tarped areas up so we can get out of the weather.

We will get started at around 10 am and go to 4 pm, so you can stay an hour or all day if you wish.

Saturday and Sunday bring your own lunch and drinks but no alchohol.

No fires other than fire starting demonstrations only.

No over night stays at the location.

Registration in advance is required. Please POST in this area if you are interested in attending.

Things to bring along:

Camp Chair

Clothing for weather conditions (rain gear/sun screen)

Bring a drink and food

Camera

Bring your own gear

Looking forward to seeing who will attend and to share stories and laughs.....should be fun no matter what the weather is...!!!

Hey all, I'll be in Vic at the time looking for a place to stay for the coming school year. Wish I could cut across the straight, but I have a finite amount of time up north till the big move is on again, need to work it when I can.
Wish I could be there, I'll def be there come next time. Perhaps a winter BBQ? mayhaps on the Island or one of its subsidiaries?

Gee Yukon.....so a mear 55 hours and 3,172 miles is not worth it to meet Bill and I.....
Well that kinda says a lot about your dedication to the site....


But I guess with the price of gas these days we will cut you some slack....

We are off to the Rendezvous.....YIPPEE

So I am heading out to pick up some food supplies and then to meet up with SB to set up the area.....Hope to see you there..and if not...we will post pictures later.....

I had such a great time.....we are now home and all unpacked....

Switchblade and his wife and father in law came.....and we had such a wonderful time....

Boy was it hot.....we were cooked after just setting up the tarp and chairs....

I will let Bill post pics and tell you all what we did and talked about.....but there will be more Rendezvous to come after this small but very successful event
