Thanks gun babe.

We ate at my brother-in-laws then popped some firecrackers. I got burned by some sparklers that I bundled together to start at one time. They flared together and burned like a quick fuse through my fingers and hand. Second and possibly third degree burns; I have some blackened flesh like grill marks on a steak. Dumbass is dumbass, but sparklers? Come on.

And yes, I've seen the video about the sparkler bombs, so please don't embarass me by posting it in here, haha.

I'm gonna go poke aroud the medical forum and see if there's anything about burns. I immediately put it under cool water from the faucet and within an hour I had Silvadine on it. Silvadine should be in everyone's emergency kit. Someone on this BB talked about the antiseptic effects of silver and they were dead on.

The nurse's and physician's assisstant's jaws dropped when they saw the burn and the first question out of there mouth was, 'Were you making a sparkler bomb?" "No," was my reply . . . honestly.

I did have them close together (dumbass is dumbass) and at ieast three of them burned down the width of three fingers in about half a second -- about as quickly as I could feel the pain, unclench my hand, and force them to the ground.

I've got some blurry photos of the wounds:

Wow really well I sure hope no one else tries this I do think you will see a full recovery in a few years.... but really this is something any kid would do who would have thunk they would burn down so fast!
