My wife and I wish we could be there but it's not looking good for this year. You never know though, things could change as the day gets closer, we'll keep it in mind.

Just for fun I thought I'd send along a couple of items to be given away as SB sees fit at the meet up. Here's a pic:

I hope that works, it's more of a link than a photo.

The matches are from a now closed buisiness so I just happened to have a ton of them... and a bunch of vacuum bags and a commercial vacuum seeling machine so I' send along a half dozen of these as well. They are great for backpacking, canoeing or stashing!

See ya! swibo6.

Well, I hope ,the meetup went well. My wife and I want to attend this kind of fun and information filled event but this year was too booked up unfortunately.

Perhaps one day we might be able to do a northern B.C. meetup. I'm sure that the target shooting alone could draw a few gunslingers...

... I could bring my mini 14, sks, win 94 trapper, ... I'd better stop while I'm ahead.

it was a blast got some projects done and we found one of the most beautiful camp spots by a river the weather was overcast but was nice not to hot or cold for me even over night it was warm. I had a great time wish more would have showed up but thats OK maybe next time....

you never know a northern meetup may happen if the timing is right!

I had a good time, as well. The camping spots I had in mind were taken, but we kept looking around and found another great area.
By the way I got the butcher knife, many thanks for both Swibo 6 and SB for the present. The knife found a good home for itself... :)
A Northern B.C. meeting..., that's something I could be interested in.

For me I'd have to say only after hunting season or in the spring. I'm scrambling to set up a butcher shop before hunting season really winds up. I'm not a fairweather camper, winter is a good time to get out in the woods too.

Hey SB and Swichblade, I'm glad you had a good weekend, I would rather have been there then up on a ladder scraping texturing off of a ceiling!
