Water System / Buffalo Pictures

Here you can see our water catchment system.
We used a gutter system to allow rain water from the trailer
roof to flow into a down spout, through a sieve and into the collection barrel.

Above is the sprinkler timer for the garden.
Right now we have it set for once a day and a 2 minute spray.

12 volt water pump has auto shut off at 40psi

This switch will shut power off to water pump when water level is low.
I have a wooden stick in the barrel and some fishing line tied to
stick and then to the switch. The weight of the the stick when water level is low pulls the
fishing line that pulls the switch that cuts power to the water pump.

Our garden is flourishing so far! We are going to try a different sprinkler next time to
try and get a more even area watered.

BBQ and stove, our cooking area.

Newly painted gate. Sure looks better without all the rust! A perfect
entry way to our retreat.

The most recent pictures of the buffalo.

We heard that our property had bunnies.

Stay tuned for more pictures!
