Local wildlife, lots of food come crunch time ;)
Deer tracks, fresh, too bad we missed it for dinner.
No shortage of meat.

Were the buffalo roam... there are some large herds of wood bison in the area.
A land owner about 25 years ago brought them in so that he could bring
up hunters from the US and cash in on some US Dollars. The fish and wildlife officers
did not allow anyone to hunt them, so they now roam the area at will.
There are a lot of these big boys around the area.
